TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payments

  1. Pacific Photography requires a deposit of at least 50% to reserve the date and time of your photography session. Without a deposit, We will secure no photography sessions.
  2. You may pay deposits via PayPal, Credit/Debit cards, Local Wire Transfer, Cash, & Bitcoin.
  3. Balance is due the day of the session; we prefer the balance paid in cash if possible; if not, you may use any of the above methods. (We now accept credit/debit cards).
  4. All prices listed on our website or agreed upon with Pacific Photography are before tax and must add the mandatory 13% required by law.
  5. Prices are not final and are subject to change.
  6. Payments via credit/debit cards are through our sister site www.rey-design.com and its third-party credit card processing company; Tilopay. We will send you an invoice link so that you can securely add your credit/debit card information and complete the payment.

Photograph Turnaround

  1. Pacific Photography will send all photographs via a downloadable link to your provided email address.
  2. The downloadable link has an expiry date of 7 days. If you need more time, please advise us.
  3. For photography sessions 2 hours or less, our return time is within seven days of the session date.
  4. Peek season turnaround can be as long as two weeks from the session date.
  5. Turnaround for weddings or sessions longer than 2 hours is two weeks plus (no longer than a month)
  6. We always provide a minimum of what is written for each service. Typically 30+ images are the photographer’s top picks. (When we choose, we usually offer more than 30).
  7. If you prefer to choose your images, we will provide you with smaller, low-quality photos to view, and you can then only select 30 to keep at high definition and edited. (You must do this in a timely matter as you are requesting for this service, and we will do our best to attend you as soon as possible)

Weddings

  1. Pacific Photography’s hourly wage for each wedding package is $100USD per/hour after the given time.
  2. The wedding prices are for Jaco and the surrounding area; outside the area, an extra fee will be added (transportation, lodging, expenses, etc.)
  3. Wedding Packages C & X include wedding prep, which means we are there before the ceremony and take photos of the bride and a few detailed shots. If there is time, we will capture the groom (we will send our second photography to capture this, as we are a two-person team minimum)
  4. Wedding package X also includes a bonus engagement session before the wedding if applicable or a recently married session after the wedding in the exact location or another nearby location. Ask us about our “Remote Jungle Experience” for memories genuinely unique.

RAW Content

  1. Requesting RAW content as an additional cost of $25.
  2. RAW files are not accessible without the proper software, Pacific Photography will convert all image files to .jpg so you can view and edit them as you wish. 
  3. Video clips used in our videos will be formatted in .mp4. (video clips normally range from 5-15 seconds).
  4. RAW content must be requested within 30 days of the session date, after that, no such files will exist.
  5. Finally, once the RAW content has been sent, we will remove it from our files, so please download within the 7-day period, or all files will be lost, with no refund available. 

Pacific Photography

  1. Pacific Photography is a partnership between; Johnathan Reynar & Rafael Laurent Rojas.
  2. The team is entirely bilingual (English & Spanish).
  3. Pacific Photography is equipped with all the professional equipment required to complete any of our services.
  4. We are located in Jaco, Puntarenas. All our prices are for the surrounding area; we will explain extra costs to you if outside.
  5. Privacy Policy: We don’t sell your information, all the information we gather, is provided by you and solely for contact purposes and to send you the finished product. Learn more

Cancellations

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of paying your deposit for your photography session for a full refund of your deposit.
  2. After 48 hours there is no deposit refund since we are reserving the date and time for you and blocking our calendar.
  3. Rescheduling may apply, contact us.
  4. No shows will result in deposit loss, and if you wish to reschedule you will need to repay the original deposit.
  5. Understand that there are processing fees for every transaction that you forfeit when you request a refund.
  6. Returns on a credit card can take up to a week to return to the card you’ve used to make the purchase. Debit cards have been long as a month or more, depending on your bank.
